Calories in beers

Beer is often called a ‘social lubricant’, as it has been used by so many people to get acquainted and find common grounds. Then you always have the option of staying home and getting your beer out of the fridge (or asking your wife for that favor). The truth is, beer festivals evolved into something more important than just a party, becoming a cultural event celebrated by millions and millions of people all over the world. The beer culture itself has enriched the vocabulary with lots of new words related to drinking, pouring, serving the beer, as well as anything you can do once you chugged a couple pints. We call it a ‘cold water sandwich’, a ‘proven remedy for empty bladder syndrome’, putting on ‘beer goggles’ when your sobriety is compromised and you see any girl as most beautiful one.
